Oral Cancer Screening

Our office uses Dexis Digital X-Ray technology so you can view your images instantly during your appointment. Compared with older systems, Dexis exposes patients to far less radiation while delivering sharper, clearer detail, even down to a tiny fracture line inside a tooth.

Tooth Extractions

Many cavity-damaged teeth can be restored, but when a tooth is severely broken or fractured beyond repair, extraction may be the safest option. Dr. Trachtenberg performs extractions with care and prioritizes your comfort throughout the visit.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Tooth-colored fillings, made with porcelain and composite resins, blend naturally with your existing teeth. They have become one of the most popular options for cavities. Amalgam fillings remain available for back teeth where extra durability matters more than appearance.

Oral Surgery

Several conditions can call for oral surgery, including impacted wisdom teeth, tooth loss, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), uneven jaw growth, or improving denture fit. Dr. Trachtenberg works closely with each patient to reduce stress and explain every step.

Dental Crowns

When a tooth is significantly damaged by decay, a crown can cover and protect the remaining structure. Crowns restore strength, size, and appearance, and can be matched to your natural teeth. Available materials include stainless steel, metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, all-resin, ceramic, and full porcelain.

Dental Bridges

A fixed dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring prosthetic teeth to your natural teeth on each side of the gap. The neighboring teeth keep the bridge stable. When natural anchors are not available, bridges can also be supported by dental implants.

Dental implants use a titanium post that acts as a new tooth root. After your bone and tissues fuse with the post over several months, a permanent restoration is secured on top.
